DCE HAS CALLED ON NANANOM IN ATWIMA NWABIAGYA NORTH

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Atwima Nwabiagya North District Assembly, Hon. Mba Zechariah Alenbilla and quota of staff have called on Nananom to show appreciation, receive their blessings and obtain immediate developmental information from Chiefs and queen mothers of the land.

The five days call on Nananom commenced on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 ended on Tuesday, July 15, 2025.

It included communities in Asoufua, Amoaman, Akropong, Atwima Koforidua, Bokankye, Owabi, Esaase, Fufuo, Asamang, and others respectfully.

Engaging Nananom, Hon. Mba Zechariah Alenbilla, highlighted on successful developmental projects executed since assumption to the office, specifically asphalt road and reshaping of roads.

 

FUNDING SOURCES
He stated categorically that the allotted support for development from the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF) will be used as directed.

“His Excellency John Dramani Mahama has allocated a 25% of the DACF to create 24hr economy market, 10% for schools, 10% for boreholes, 10% for CHIP compounds.. as representative of the President I will see to it those money are used to fulfill the President’s vision.”

He further urged Nananom to support the Assembly through payment of levies, and encouraged levy payers to contribute in payment of property rates, permit, and all other levies due the Assembly and for development.

Hon. DCE assured the levies contributed will be used to develop the communities of which Nananom will bear testimony to it.

Feed Ghana Project (FGP)
Hon. Mba urged Nananom to engaged in farming to support the programme. Encouraged individual farmers to form groups and register at the district Assembly for onward support.

In the address, Nananom praised and blessed the DCE for his visit and assured him of their prayers. They made him aware of various developmental challenges they have faced in the area of markets, schools, health centers, sanitation, and others related.

They cautioned against unfulfilled promises and politicisation of concerns.

DCE and staff thanked Nananom and all others for a fruitful discourse and assured on his readiness to deliver.
