Your earlier nomination of Dr. Frank Amoakohene as Minister Designate for the Ashanti Region was a clear indication of your recognition of the region’s critical role in the party’s success and the nation’s governance.
The subsequent appointments of Hon. Muntaka Mohammed- Mubarak, MP, as Minister Designate for the Ministry of Interior, and Mr. Adjel Kenneth Gilbert, as Minister Designate for the Ministry of Works, Housing, and Water Resources, further affirm your trust in the competence and dedication of individuals from our region.
These appointments have been received with great appreciation and optimism by party members and constituents across the Ashanti Region. They underscore your commitment to ensuring regional balance and inclusivity in your government, as well as your confidence in the ability of these appointees to deliver on the transformational policies outlined in our manifesto.
Your Excellency, while we celebrate these appointments, we are hopeful that additional members from the Ashanti Region will be considered for Deputy Ministerial roles and Chief Executive
Officer positions in key institutions. Such appointments will further empower the region to play
a pivotal role in advancing the NDC’s vision for Ghana’s development.
