Jachiehene marks 5th anniversary of enstoolment

Jachie Palace Ground, the ceremonial grounds at the Jachie Palace in Bosomtwe, came alive yesterday when the Jachiehene, Baffour Kwaku Amoateng IV, marked the fifth anniversary of his enstoolment with a durbar.

The grand durbar, attended by a large gathering, including the Minister of education Dr Osei Yaw Adutwem,The Ashanti regional minister Simon Osei Mensah and the Bosomtwe District Chief Executive, Lawyer Joesph Asuming

Other personalities included the Brigedia General Maxwell Appiah Kubi; Delegation from South Africa university, Mr Hipohipo a businessman, Nana Wireko ( a k a Nana Joy), Mr Kokofu and many other people

The colourful event brought out the best in Asante culture and tradition.

It was also attended by representatives of political parties, some members of the Diplomatic Corps and captains of industry.

Being his day, the Jachiehene, resplendent in beautiful Kente, arrived at the grounds in a palanquin.

Baffuor Kwaku Amoateng IV jachiehene admonishing the youth not to allow themselves to be used as conduits for electoral violence.

This comes ahead of the country’s presidential and parliamentary elections which is expected to take place on December 7, 2024.

Dr Osei Yaw Adutwum members of parliament for the people of lauded the chief and people of Jachie for the honour done him for the service he had rendered to them and the nation as a whole.

He assured them of his commitment to continue working very hard for the constituency and the nation as a whole.

Dr Adutwum emphasised that good work attracted reward and called on all and sundry to take a cue from the gesture of the chief and people of Jachie.

Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum has revealed that it takes the visionary leader like Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffu Addo to rescue Ghanaian when the pandemic attacks the world.

He said the economy that has distorted will be stabilized again so as the Ghanaian goes to the poll he urged them to continue the npp government in power. Hon Dr Osei Yaw Adutwum was speaking at the 5 years anniversary of Jachie Hene enstoolment in Bosomtwe district of Ashanti region.

The Ashanti regional minister Hon Simon Osei Mensah has said npp leadership is capable of making the unmake and it takes only npp to introduce policies that has a direct impact in an ordinary person like NHIS, School feeding, NEIP and Free SHS while NDC opposed it and now the want to come back which we need to show them the exit.
