I don’t have time to campaign for Any political party — Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu

Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu said she is not ready to campaign for any political party.

She said this during an interview with Prince Atta Gyamfi (A. K. A B Ice) on Kumasi-based Agyenkwa FM.

The popular Kumawood actress was asked if she would accept to campaign for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP). Answering the host, she stated that she wouldn’t get the time.

Mercy Asiedu stressed that she is a very busy person – so time won’t be on her side to join NPP’s campaign trails.

This was after she complained about the Creative Arts sector being ignored by politicians.

Oheneyere Asiedu said she is not thinking about her selfish interest but that of future generations.

An improvement in the sector, according to her, would help create jobs for the youth.

While Ghanaians will be going to the polls in a few months, Mercy Asiedu has pleaded with authorities not to neglect the Creative Arts sector.
