Chairman Nana Akwasi, a conscientious Ashanti regional chairman of the opposition National Democratical Congress has weakened the political stronghold of the ruling party in the Ashanti region with what he describes ‘a retail campaign’.
Storming the Bosomtwi constituency which is the hometown of Chairman Wontumi, the Ashanti regional chairman of the ruling party, NPP, chairman Nana Akwasi was mobbed by constituents who were eager to listen to the good message of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama and the NDC ahead of the 2024 general elections.
Chairman Nana Akwasi was seen in a viral video being mobbed by NPP sympathizers in the constituency wanting to receive paraphernalias of the NDC and pay attention for his visit to the constituency.
Soon after the well circulated video of the affable Ashanti regional Chairman,’frustrated’ chairman Wontumi quickly went to Barekese in the Atwima Nwabiagya North constituency to embark on his usual propaganda.
He was seen in a video clading NPP supporters with NDC coloures claiming they have joined the disappointed NPP in their campaign in the aforementioned constituency.
