The District Executive Committee led by the District chairman Ali Zul Kifilu assisted by Madam Cecilia Ampofo (nurse manager, SDA Hospital-Dominase) as well as local Executives on Monday 15th July, 2024 presented a cheque of *One Hundred Thousand Ghana cedis( One Billion old Ghana cedis)* to *Ms Deborah Nkrumah of S.D. A Hospital-Dominase.* This was done on behalf of Ashanti Regional Chairman Jones Afriyie Anto Esq.
The Bekwai Municipal Chairman indicated that welfare of nurses is the utmost priority of the association. He also touched on the numerous benefits of the association and reiterated the need for all members to remain loyal to the Union.
_The cheque was received by the mother of the sick member who thanked the association for the extraordinary show of love and support to the family._
The nurse manager of the hospital encouraged members including students and rotation nurses to stick to GRNMA and not to be a victim of unknown groups.
Moreso the Ashanti regional Public Relations Officer for Ghana Registered Nurse and Midwives Association Baba Haruna explained the rationale behind this decision.
