The Juaben Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alex Sarfo Kantanka, has described his party’s Youth Organizer in Ashanti region as a dumb person who doesn’t even know how to cast a valid ballot.
Alex Sarfo Kantanka popularly known as Chairman Aluta stated on the Wontumi Morning Show that Raphael Sarfo Patrick was not the gentleman they perceived him to be and have all regretted voting for him to lead the youth wing in the Ashanti region.
He cited the event which led to rejection of Raphael Sarfo Patrick’s vote during the NPP’s Super Delegates’ Conference in August 2023.
“Initially we thought he was intelligent. But I realized he doesn’t even know how to vote. If he votes it becomes spoilt ballot”, he said.
It will be recalled that the Electoral Commission (EC) rejected the vote of the Ashanti Regional Youth Organiser of the NPP, Raphael Sarfo Patrick after he showed his ballot paper to the public.
The Commission explained that the action of the youth organiser is contrary to regulations governing the election.
