NPP will be in opposition no matter who wins the flagbearership race -Asiedu Nketia

Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, the National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is optimistic that, any of the ten candidates vying for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbeaership position would definitely go to opposition with the party which he said is already heading to opposition.

According to him, all indications shows clearly that, Ghanaian have already rejected and disappointed with the current administration of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and not make a mistake to maintain any of the ten aspiring candidates who would represented the party come 2024.

Speaking to the Nwabiagya South constituency Executive’s at the weekends, he is of the view that, it’s not the National Democratic Congress (NDC) that is driving away the governing NPP but the Ghanaians electorates that are not happy with the NPP in running down or totally collapse the economy.

He however reminded the branch and constituency Executives to remain focus, determine and focus towards the 2024 general elections.

He noted that, elections are not won from the national headquarters but wins at the constituency, and for that matter, the need to deepen their commitment in their campaign strategies at the constituency level to enable them wins the election’s convincingly.

He disclosed that, he doesn’t encouraged anyone from a constituency follows him on a campaign rallies while there is work and a tasks at the constituency level to accomplish.

He stressed that the victory ahead of the NDC could be achieve only when the branches and constituency Executives remains united and urged them to remain as united and committed for the task ahead.

He reiterated that, his chairmanship is a revolutionary type, for being a fully NDC person either one being part of the problem or being part of the solution to rescue power from the NPP, for there is nothing like being a neutral.
