Dear Comrades of Bosomtwe Constituency, on behalf of my good self and Campaign Team, I greet you.
Over the weekend, the entire nation witnessed the expressive show of love towards the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and a reputable practice of the principle of party democracy. Clearly, the NDC proved itself once again as the party whose sacrifices ushered the nation Ghana into the fourth republic whose fortunes have brought to us national stability, peace and smooth political administration.
The Bosomtwe Constituency which I now represent as the democratically elected Parliamentary Candidate for the party was not left out in the national electioneering exercise. Comrades, I deem it a rare privilege to have been given the mandate to lead the party into election 2024 as PC. Such an honor done me cannot in anyway be underestimated.
I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the National Executives for their highly competent organization of this nationwide exercise. I further thank all Constituency Executives of Bosomtwe, Delegates, Constituency Elections Committee members and the entire NDC fraternity for their show of comradeship before, during and after the exercise. I wish to also extend gratitude to the Ghana Police Service for their show of professionalism in maintaining law and order at the congress grounds.
As I take a moment to congratulate my comrade aspirants who were in contest with me, I equally wish to extend an embracing handshake of friendship, unity of purpose and a collective vision to win the Bosomtwe Constituency for our beloved party, the NDC. As comrades who wish well for our party devoid of any personal and selfish interest, I deem it a responsibility to work hand-in-hand with every party fellow, especially my colleague aspirants towards 2024. No one shall be left behind in our quest to unite for victory 2024. The rescue agenda is an agenda for us all and requires, in all sincerity, an all-hands-on-deck approach. I dare say that my victory is a victory for all regardless of the candidate one may have supported before and during the election. Together, let us get to work as members of NDC in Bosomtwe and not members of an individual’s campaign team.
Going forward into 2024 and beyond as my mandate would permit me, the focus shall be largely premised on consistent branch mobilization and engaging in activities that would positively revive the party in the Bosomtwe Constituency. To the end, we shall focus our attention more on human resource development and youth empowerment; precisely skills and entrepreneurship development. Our vision shall be to greatly improve the financial and intellectual capacities of the Bosomtwe NDC youth so we could all help build the party for victory in the years ahead. These, we shall do if Allah permit.
Comrades, ladies and gentlemen, I once again express my profound gratitude to you for your overwhelming endorsement at the polls. I, Engr. Abdullah Hamidu, having been duly elected as your Parliamentary Candidate ahead of election 2024 promises to serve you selflessly. As your servant-leader, I remain indebted to you and pray above all things that our collective will to revive the NDC in the Constituency and to win the Bosomtwe seat comes to pass. Remember, this is a new dawn of political servant-leadership. I thank you all and may Allah come to our aid in our service.
