Newborn babies at korle-bu saved during International Women’s Day by Ambassador Nancy Sam

As part of today’s international women’s day celebration, a ” *one finger* ” for all women was raise high at the Korle-bu teaching hospital to help rescue women who has delivered but for obvious reasons been still at the maternity ward for almost due to lack of finance.

The occasion which was graced by cherished Donors from Ghana and Italy , lead by Ambassador Nancy Sam , the president of women in tourism said in an interview with kingdom News that this is a moment to show love and make women one by supporting other less privilege maternity women.

She continued that , this will not be the end but the continuation of her vision to build women in Africa .

Over 20,000. GHC hospital bills was paid to settle those women who have gone through labour and had no one to help .

The International volunteers lead by her Excellency Ambassador Nancy Sam, pledged to continue to do a constant follow up of those poor mother’s even after these occasion and will keep assisting them to be self employed or get jobs in order to be able to take care of their babies and new family.

A home coming cake party was shared by her Excellency and Italian international volunteers with the Korle-bu maternity ward patients and senior nurses.
