Over 217 widows in the Ahafo Region have received donations of clothes and cash to support themselves in the celebration of the new year.
The United States of America (USA) base Ghanaian citizen and a Businessman as well as an Estate Developer and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pezalo Construction Limited, Mr. Francis Owusu popularly know as Nana Owusu has donated clothes and money which worth sixty-nine thousand Ghana cedis (690 million old Ghana cedis) to 217 widows, widowers and aged ones at Ahafo Goaso in the Ahafo Region.
The widows were from the entire Asunafo North Municipality and other constituencies.
Speaking in an interview, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pezalo Construction Limited Mr. Francis Owusu, said he was touched by the plight of the needy and the vulnerable in the society, particularly widows as the offer is his contribution to put smiles on the face of the needy and vulnerable during the new year.
Mr. Francis Owusu asked them to support him with prayers, as he returns to United States of America (USA) and continue his work over there.
Mr. Francis Owusu advised every businessman especially those in Abroad to start supporting our widows and aged ones during festivals to know that they have some people’s who is supporting them in any difficulties.
He therefore urge everyone in Abroad to start coming home during occasion days to support the needy ones in their communities.
