The incumbent Ashanti Regional Organizer of National democratic congress, Mr Isham Alhassan (aka field marshal) filed his nomination papers amid overwhelming applause at the party’s regional headquarters in Amakom, Kumasi on Saturday , October 15, 2022.
Isham Alhassan presented his documents to members of the regional elections committee while wearing a white shirt with party identification colors.
Addressing the press, Isham Alhassan could not contain his emotions as he was overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from party executives from all 47 constituencies who gathered at the NDC regional headquarters.
“I firmly swear that I will not take this enormous trust placed in me for granted, and I commit once more to work with you all as we attempt to win the election”
Leaders from the party’s regional and constituency organizational structures, such as constituency Organizers, constituency Youth Organizers, constituency Women Organizers, constituency Nasara Cordinators, and a slew of constituency chairpersons and executives, as well as council of elders, were in attendance.
Isham expressed his trust in the NDC delegates to support his candidacy for regional Organizer.
Isham Alhassan, on the other hand, expressed his gratitude and indebtedness to all party members for their unwavering support for him and his team
