Jachiehene celebrate 54th birthday

Jachiehene Baffour Kwaku Amoateng IV on Sunday August 21st 2022 celebrated his 54th birthday at the Jachie Palace.

Church service was held in honour of him at St Andrew Anglican church at Jachie. Rev Father Evans Oppong, led the mass and offered prayers of thanksgiving and supplication to God and asked for good health and long life for the chief.

Baffour Kwaku Amoateng IV, who was clad in white Kente was joined by the schools in Jachie community and some few members of the elders and members of Jachie Traditional Council.

As part of the birthday celebration, Baffour Amoateng IV organized a Quiz competition for the schools in the community.

The quiz saw Jachie D/A 1 JHS, Pranninase Basic JHS, Adventist JHS, and Jachie D/A 2 JHS in the final and Jachie Adventist JHS emerged winners. Baffour Amoateng IV presented awards to the participating schools.


Baffour called on parents to ensure that their children were supported in their academic affairs as this would secure a brighter future for them. He also urged children to learn hard and stop watching tv and social media to ensure that they become good students.
Baffour Kwaku Amoateng IV jachiehene said quality education called for sacrifice, stressing that investing in the education of the child was necessary to address child delinquency, and other irresponsible behavior on the part of children who did not have proper upbringing. He said for the gap to be bridged, it is the responsibility of parents to attach importance to the education of their children by ensuring that they provide them with their needs.
There was a dinner with the family and community members who helped him cut a cake to climax the birthday celebration.
