Chieftaincy Dispute is gradually retarding development at Nkotumso Community in the Upper Denkyira East District in the Central Region.

The fact of the matter is, the entire community has over a decade battled with chieftaincy Dispute which has resulted in the community’s inability to develop.

Opanin Kofi Adey, community member is much worried about the situation and has called on the National house of chiefs and the President of the Republic to help fast track the Chieftaincy Dispute which has been at the court for the past eleven years .

He was not happy as to why the community is not having a Chief to ensure that law and order privails in the area.

According to him ,the absence of chief in the area has given room for illegal miners to operate without measures.

Again, there are alot of social vices such as teenage pregnancies, prostitution, robberies, and among others…..
