The Ashanti Regional deputy Police Commander,ACP Annor Arhin has called on residents in the Ashanti region to resource the Police with the necessary information about criminal activities in their various communities.
He said,such information help them to clampdown criminal activities in the Ashanti.
“The police leave in barracks and is you who leave with the people in the community and you know the criminals among you better than we know,so volunteer such information to the Police”he said.
He also urged residents to work in hand with the neighborhood community watch Police at their various community.
He noted,the work of the neighborhood watch Police complement the effort of the Police and therefore,there is the need for residents to give them the needed attention.
ACP Annor Arhin was addressing across section of landlords and Assembly members within the Ashanti region on the essence of having neighborhood watch Police in their community in kumasi.
The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the Neighborhood Community Watch Police, Faisal Alhasan appealed to residents to resource them in cash and in kind for them to discharge their duty
The Regional Executives of the Neighborhood watch Police took the opportunity to honour Alhaji Abdulai Ali Barry for his numerous support to try their work.
Alhaji Abdulai Ali Barry has been the major financier of the operations of the neighborhood watch Police in the Ashanti region.
