A/R: NKAWIE FORESTRY MANAGER REWARDED

The office of the Ashanti Regional Forestry Commission has rewarded the Nkawie district manager,Mr Chrisantus Nifaasoyir for his hard work in just ended Greening Ghana Project.

The Ashanti Regional Director of Forestry Commission,Mr Augustine Kofi Gyedu told media in a short ceremony that,the Nkawie district exceeded it target of planting and distributing 550,000 trees to over one million trees.

“We are here today to reward one of the district that stood tall,he distributed and planted over one million seedlings and we are doing this to motivate others in our subsequence programs”he said.

The Nkawie Forestry Division Manager,Mr Chrisantus Nifaasoyir was presented 42-inch Samsung Tv to show it appreciation for his extraordinary contribution to the Project.

Responding to his award,Mr Chrisantus Nifaasoyir thanked the Ashanti Regional Director for recognizing his effort.

“I also want to thank my colleagues who supported me at the district level for their numerous support in divert ways”he said.
