The Honourable Member of Parliament for the Afigya Kwabri South Constituency Mr. Williams Owuraku Aidoo has commissioned a 6-unit classroom at Bronkrong Abuakwa in his Constituency.
The MP joined the chiefs and people of Bronkrong Abuakwa on Wednesday , 29th March , 2022 to commission a new 6-unit classroom block that would serve as the D/A Basic School for the people of Bronkrong Abuakwa.
The six-unit classroom block with an office, a store room and toilet facilities was an initiative of the MP, Hon Williams Owuraku Aidoo to aid the transformation of education in the community.
He aimed at creating a conducive teaching and learning environment for both teachers and students so that they can concentrate on their studies.
Present at the commissioning was the DCE for Affigya kwabre south , Hon. Adu Poku Christian, Constituency, other party executives amongst others.
Speaking at the ceremony to commission the school at Bronkrong Abuakwa ,Hon Williams Owuraku Aidoo, the told the leaders of the district to take the opportunity to spend wisely in developing the education sector in the area in order to jealously protect the future and present generations.

According to him education has become the driving force in his reign as a lawmaker representing his people.
Speaking at the official commissioning of the school,Nana Boakye Yam II revealed that,he personally allocated six plots of land for the establishment of the only Public school in the community which has seen light today.
According to him,he donated the land based on the absence of government school in the community.

He hinted that,he will take it upon himself to ensure that the school becomes one of the biggest schools in the Ashanti Region.
He entreated the pupils to take their education serious in order for them to fit well in the society.
He also advised staff of the school to ensure that the school is protected and to ensure maintenance culture.
He was happy the assembly has named the public school after him.
He said,the school, which is commissioning today will produce President,MP,Lawyers ETC,few years to come.
Nana Boakye Yam II, Chief of Nkwantakese,a farming community in the Afigya KWABRE North District in the Ashanti Region has donated a whooping GHC10,000 to support Nana Boakye Yam II D/A Basic School at Bronkrong Abuakwa,a community in the Afigya KWABRE South district.

Hon. Adu Poku Christian,DCE for the area appealed to the people of KWABRE South to always cooperate with revenue collectors of the assembly by paying their dues for the development of the area.He said,it is only through revenue mobilization that the assembly will get money to develop Afigya KWABRE South.He however donated school bags to every single pupil who was present at the event.
