WE DON’T HAVE ENOUGH CLASS ROOMS-ENT PRINCIPAL CRIED OUT.

The Principal at the Ear,Nose and Throat Nursing at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH),Mrs Mercy Belins Beyuo has started that inadequate infrastructure at the school has affected enrollment of the school.

She said,a lot of applicants are denied admission as a result of inadequate class rooms and other facility in the school.

“Is our wish to admit more students because we need more in the field but due to infrastructure wise we reject others”she said.

Mrs Mercy Belins Beyuo was speaking at the 5th Congregation and 6th Matriculation Ceremony on Wednesday at Kath.

Mrs Mercy Belins has therefore called on the Ministry of health and other stakeholders in the health sector to come to the aid of the school in order to commence infrastructure works at the school’s new site at Adankwame.

Ninety Six(96) graduated today with 69 regular stream and 27 from sandwich batch.

Addressing the graduands,the Ashanti Regional Health Emmanuel Tenkorang urged the graduands to use the knowledge they have acquired from the school to serve the people addition with the fear God.

According to him,they need to be patients in serving the people they come a cross daily as the country looks forward to achieve the universal health coverage.

She said,the ENT nurses in the health sector are in adequate and there is the need for more to be trained to meet the demand at the various hospital.
