A member of the Communications Team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Brogya Genfi, has stated that the Nation Builders Corp was a tool used by the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia government to deceive the teeming unemployed graduate youth for the 2020 elections.
Brogya Genfi, who is a former Youth Organizer of NDC in the Ashanti Region, in an interview with 3news.com, indicated that “the NABCO programme was intentionally designed to end after the 2020 elections”.
This he said “makes the programme an ad hoc and unsustainable means of employment for the youth”.
He was reacting to a letter in circulation, written by the Ministry of Chieftancy and Religious Affairs directing all Registrars of the Regional House Chiefs to dismiss NABCO employees.
The sector Minister has since denied writing such letter.
