Social group, Critical Thinkers International has organised to school political parties on how to invest in research to collect the demands of electorate and deliver base on such demands.
Mr Kojo Akwaa the founder of social group Critical Thinkers International, Speaking with the Media expressed that the work of politicians will be made easier and faster if they will adopt the culture of research to know their target.
“This will make them identify their target and deliver base on the demands of the constituents”
He disclosed this when the said organisation, held a forum dubbed ” INFLUENCE OF RESEARCH ON ELECTORAL STRATEGIES” at the Miklin Hotel Kumasi, to school reps from all political parties in the country on the need to improve research to develop their electoral strategies.
Backing the idea was, Mr Osei Kofi Acquah the national youth organiser of CPP, who hit on the responsible institution’s reluctance in gathering and utilising research reports and theses undertaken by students from the universities and colleges
He therefore stressed that till such ideas are taken into consideration, the country can not be pushed to the level Ghanaians are expecting.
He charged the government to empower the Youth and Sports ministry to function beyond participating in sporting competitions only and create employment for the larger youth force.
